Discounted Tickets

General Guidelines:

Emma Clark Library Cardholders may purchase discounted admission tickets to the venues listed below at the Circulation Desk in the Library’s Lobby*. The following restrictions apply to all purchases:

  • Payment must be made by cash or check.
  • Purchasers must have valid Emma Clark Library cards.
  • Families may purchase no more than 4 tickets per venue per month.
  • Tickets are valid only for personal/family use and may not be re-sold.
  • Please contact venue directly to inquire about limited hours/services, additional fees, or any unique policies prior to your visit.

Adventureland Amusement Park
(seasonally available)

Long Island’s Leader in Family Fun Since 1962, featuring 28 rides for adults and kids including roller coasters, water rides, and a state-of-the-art arcade!

  • Location: Farmingdale
  • Discounted rate: $27.50 (general admission is typically $49.50)
  • Tickets include access to the park and unlimited rides all day.
  • Valid only for the 2024 summer season (June 1 – September 29, 2024). Parking is free.

The Adventure Park
(seasonally available)

Long Island’s largest outdoor aerial ropes course and ziplining park. Go on an island adventure to go along with the Kids & Teen Summer Reading theme, “Adventure Begins at Your Library”!

  • Location: Wheatley Heights
  • Discounted rate: $39 (general admission is typically $69 for adults 14+ and $59 for children 7 – 13)
  • Once you obtain your individual, one-time voucher ticket code, be sure to follow the instructions on the back to book your ticket.
  • Each voucher is redeemable for one ticket online.
  • Voucher cost includes access to equipment, harnessing, safety briefing, a practice session, and 3 hours of zipline and climbing fun in the trees.
  • Ticket voucher has no expiration date.

The American Museum of Natural History

Founded in 1869, the American Museum of Natural History is one of the world’s preeminent scientific and cultural institutions. Their mission is to “discover, interpret, and disseminate—through scientific research and education—knowledge about human cultures, the natural world, and the universe.”

  • Location: Manhattan
  • Discounted rate: $10 (general admission is $28 for adults, $22.50 for students and seniors, and $16.50 for children ages 2-12)
  • Each ticket provides free admission for one person to the Museum and one temporary exhibition, LeFrak Theater film, Space Show, or Seasonal Live Animal Exhibit.
  • Timed reservations are required. You can make them where you reserve tickets on the museum website: AMNH Timed Entry Reservations.
  • Tickets have expiration dates.

The Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead

Long Island Aquarium takes visitors on a magical journey through a wide range of exhibits that bring undersea wonders to life. Boasting both indoor and outdoor exhibits, the Long Island Aquarium offers many ways to fascinate, captivate, and explore!

  • Location: Riverhead
  • Discounted rate: $27 (general admission is $48.99 for adults, $34.99 for children ages 3-12, and $35.99 for seniors 62+)
  • Discounted rate is the same for all ages (children, students, and seniors).
  • Provides admission to the aquarium, aviary, and butterfly exhibits.
  • Tickets do not expire.
