Donations and Gifts

Gifts of books and other resources are accepted with the understanding that they may be used or discarded at the library’s discretion. New titles acquired in this manner are subject to the basic standards of selection. Replacements and duplicate copies are added to the collection if needed. The cost of processing and the availability of shelving space are also factors in determining the acceptance of gifts. The library does not provide evaluations of gifts for tax deductions or other purposes.

Book Collections
The library regrets it cannot accept large quantities of used books.

We do have a drop box for book donations for Better World Books in the back left-hand corner of the Library’s parking lot.
